Connect

Organizations such as ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention Cruelty to Animals) provide services and connect abused animals to appropriate families. They investigate and can make arrests for crimes against animals from anywhere within the western hemisphere. Such organizations display pictures of sad and abused animals in order to win over the hearts of future adopters. Websites use quotes such as, "Abandoned and neglected pets need your help today" to entice families to adopt these abused animals.
