Recently the Dow Jones Industrial average has clipped the 12,000 mark after a loss of more than 8,000 points over the past two years due to the home and credit crises. The Dow Jones is a computed average of 30 stocks to show a general trend of the market for investors, traders, and sellers. Strong economic data has been the driving force of the market's success and bulls are thriving as a result. Many still doubt the strength of the economy and expect volatility in the weeks ahead due to problems overseas such as the dilemma in Egypt and the current job crisis here in the US.
